Koan #7
Koan #7, or: In Which My Soul Whispers Sweetness To Yours And We Reconnect To The Eternal.
ko·an (kō'än')
n. A puzzling, often paradoxical statement or story, used in Zen Buddhism as an aid to meditation and a means of gaining spiritual awakening.
This was part of my master's thesis, presented as an installation for the San Francisco Art Institute M.F.A. Vernissage, 2007, and I thought it'd be beneficial to share it with all of you, since I want to SHARE LOVE, yes that's right with caps ON!!! ...and there’s a ton of love that went into this project. It's a koan that merges some formative painting and collage work via unadorned animation to give a transcendent journey to the Source. Enjoy!
The song is My Angel Rocks Back and Forth by the ingenious Four Tet.
