I arrived on the West Coast from the heartland 16 years ago, graduated from Evergreen State College in WA with my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Art, then received my Masters in Fine Arts from The San Francisco Art Institute. I earn my keep as the creative director of moreTrees clothing co.
As a Master of Art I make images for conscious people seeking to open more into themselves; people who are shifting from into a celebratory and sustainable existence.
I'm currently developing a new line of organic wearable art, designing an animated portrait, and crafting a visionary art show.
My current practice explores new mythical archetypes, modes of revelry, and paths to bliss, though what I call "Illuminated Portraiture."
Right now I mostly work with graphite and paint on paper, but also produce sound, video, animation, street interventions and installation projects.
I adore music, dancing, and creating art to uplift and inspire.
Rumi and Shams serve as my ultimate source of inspiration, and, as their relationship did, my goal is to provide a vehicle for transcendence through my art.
